Showstoppers Stage School alumni are currently dancing at high-profile dance companies around the world. Here is a small handful of our successful alumni.

Nathan Chipps

Nathan Chipps was born in 1998 in the south of England, starting his life of dance at Showstoppers Stage School at 4 years old. In 2008 Nathan furthered his training in the Royal Ballet Associate Program and later went on to attain a BA (Hons) Degree from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London.

In 2019 Nathan joined Rambert2 where he was involved in the creation, and performing, of work by Andrea Miller, Jermaine Spivey and Benoit Swan Pouffer, as well as achieving his master’s degree. Nathan joined The Batsheva Young Ensemble in 2020, performing works by Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Bobbi Jean Smith & Or Schraiber.

In 2022 Nathan joined the Gothenburg Opera Dance Company in Sweden, creating and performing in works by Imre & Marne Van Opstal and Alexander Ekman. In 2023 Nathan returned to Tel Aviv and to Batsheva, to join Batsheva Dance Company where he continues his career.

Beth Devine

Beth Started Showstoppers at just 2 years old. On leaving Showstoppers she went on to graduate from Bird College with a First in her BA (Hons) in Professional Dance & Musical Theatre in 2021.
 
Kicking off her musical theatre career, she has toured the UK twice in Stephen Mears White Christmas. She has also appeared as a dancer at events in the Louvre in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai. More recently, she premiered in the original cast of, writer and director Ben Elton’s, Close- Up: The Twiggy Musical at The Menier Chocolate Factory as Sally.
 

Amy La Roux

At the age of five Amy started dancing at Showstoppers where her love for performing began. 

Amy Le Roux is the Creative Director and Choreographer at Energie Entertainment, one of the leading and award-winning entertainment agencies in the Middle East. With an extensive portfolio across the MENA region, Amy has solidified her reputation as a top-tier creative professional, spearheading high-profile projects throughout the UAE.
 
Amy trained at the prestigious London Studio Centre, where she earned a BA Honours degree in Dance Theatre. After graduation, she toured internationally as a professional dancer, performing in a variety of musical productions. As her career evolved, Amy’s passion for choreography and creative direction led her to transition into pre-production and creative leadership roles.
 
Before joining Energie Entertainment, Amy worked with Invent Creative Event Solutions as their resident choreographer and producer. During her tenure, she choreographed, produced, and directed over 50 productions for world-renowned brands such as Warner Bros, Cartoon Network, Sony, Hasbro, and Bidaya Media.

  • Creative Producer for the One Development Launch, Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai
  • Director of The Quest to Find the Moon Ramadan Show (AWP), Expo City, Dubai
  • Choreographer for the COP 28 Bespoke Parade, Expo City, Dubai
  • Parade Director for Mansour The Festival, Zayed Sports City Stadium
  • Amy’s work has been showcased at some of the most prestigious venues, including Dubai Opera House, Coca-Cola Arena, Al Wasl Plaza, and numerous other iconic locations across the UAE. Her ability to blend creativity, passion, and precision ensures that every production she leads is of the highest caliber, offering unforgettable experiences for both audiences and clients.
 
Amy continues to push the boundaries of performance art and creativity in the Middle East, infusing each project with a personal, imaginative touch and a commitment to excellence that defines her work.
